Joseph Solomon, P.I.A. Tour Start Fundraiser For Houston Relief

by Resolute Magazine Staff

With the distress caused by Hurricane Harvey, Joseph Solomon teamed up with the members of the P.I.A. Tour to raise funds for 25-50 families affected by the hurricane. The GoFundMe fundraiser began Tuesday, August 29, 2017, and has since raised over $10,000 of a $25,000 goal.

Not long after the hurricane hit, Solomon, who is from Texas, started looking for ways to help families in need. These are not families in general sense, as Solomon shared on the fundraising page, but 25-50 families in specific that he and the members of the P.I.A. Tour, which includes Ezekiel Azonwu, Jackie Hill Perry, Preston Perry, Janette Watson, and Chris Webb, know personally.

The money will also go toward smaller churches that are currently serving as shelters in Texas, “and will also need money to materially restore their members and communities. One of which is a church that Solomon was a member of.
