In their first collaboration together, Grammy-winning rap artist, Lecrae, and singer, Tori Kelly, team up with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital for an emotional video for Lecrae’s hit single, “I’ll Find You”. The video gives a message of hope in the midst of chaos.
The video starts with a visual of Lecrae and Tori Kelly standing as Tori Kelly sings.
As the scene changes to staff breaking off for their shifts in the hallways of the hospital, the viewer is then brought to a specific scene of a family; the parents watching over their daughter as she lays in her hospital bed with her eyes shut. Lecrae then begins to rap.
Throughout the video, the young cancer patients encourage one another. Despite their current state, each patient lights the screen up with their smile.
St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is known for its dedication in “leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.”
“For me, this video is my heartbeat. It’s me showing my own pain, hope and passion for others. I want people to see there’s hope in the chaos,” Lecrae shared with People Magazine, who exclusively debuted the behind-the-scenes photos, taken by Atlanta-based photographer Joe Gonzalez, of the music video.
The video concludes with several young people under the age of 21 who have been impacted by their treatment at St. Jude’s Hospital and with a link for viewers to become a St. Jude Partner in Hope.
